Bethsaida Hermitage
If you are looking to get away to an exotic and rejeuvenating place with pure, positive energy- this is it. Located near Kovalam in Kerala, India, this beach front resort (The Arabian Sea!) is one of the few owned by a native Keralan. Julia's tie to this band is guitarist and film composer Giancarlo Vulcano. Giancarlo is one of those unique cats that makes you happy to be alive and even happier to be an artist. Las Rubias is a modern, witty twist on the traditions of Central and South American folklore. If you like Trio Los Panchos and Violeta Para, you'll love these guys.
Daves True Story
Julia initially hired DTS bassist Jeff Eyrich because she was such a fan of this band's sound. It's sort of Bob Dylan meets Julie London. Their album, Nature, played in Julia's stereo for literally 3 months straight! Also, check out lead singer Kelly Flint's new solo album, Drive All Night.
