Founded by Vin Scialla (drums), Neel Murgai (sitar) and David Ullmann (guitar), Mission: On Mars is an exploration of the sounds of the universe. You must hear it to believe it. Julia was introduced to the band by David Ullmann, her friend and music teacher. She has been singing with them since the winter of 2006 and looks forward to many successful voyages with the crew.

The brainchild of producer and songster extraordaire, Paul Heck, Jujulele has for many years been a collective of some very interesting and creative musicians. Julia joined a few years back as a vocalist and eventually started doing some writing with Paul. When bassist and composer Federico Fong came along, the three gelled as the current core of the group, along with drummer Charlie Randt.
The only trouble Jujulele has encountered in making their first record (yet to be released, but cooking away to a golden brown) is- too much material! Usually when they get together to finish one song, they write a new one. This is in large part Julia & Paul's fault, but they think it's a pretty good problem to have. Julia has total reverence for Paul and Federico's unique musicianship and poetic spirits. Paul and Federico recently composed the soundtrack to the documentary East of Havana, about rap culture in Cuba.
Julia likes to keep her creative mind open by working and collaborating with other musicians... These are two projects that give her great satisfaction.
